I'm dog tired!

Hi everyone.

On Monday, I went to see the good folks at the Animal Care Clinic for my latest round of chemo.  I hate to say it, but I'm getting used to going to the vet's office.  Like I've said before, the people there are real nice, but they have this history of doing things to me that I'd just as soon, not have done.  Of course, the chemotherapy is different.  The injections themselves don't hurt at all and I get treats afterwards.  And of course, they are always happy to see Little Bit.  In all actuality, I wouldn't be here now writing to all of you without them.  I am grateful.  It is good to be alive.

Thanks for my new bandana boss ma'amThat said, I'm exceptionally happy that on May 18, 2005, I will be getting what I hope to be my last vincristine injection.  When I first started my therapy I didn't haven't any side effects from the drugs.  Actually, they worked so well and so fast, that I was feeling much better even after the first week.  I remember how hard it was for me to breath when I was laying down and the chemo helped with that right from the start.  Now, that I am nearing my ending point for vincristine, I notice that it takes me longer and longer to get my energy back after treatment.  Here it is, Wednesday already and I'm still extra tired.  Yesterday I didn't bother to get up for breakfast.  I figured that I was pretty tired and the bosses probably wouldn't have shared that much anyway.  (By the way, did I mention that my official weight is up to 25.5 lbs?  2.4 lbs of happiness baby!)  I'm still going for my daily walks, but since my treatment I've told the boss man that I'd prefer to go on a short one.  I've been tired, but also, it has been really warm here the last week or two (highs around 80oF).  Not that I'm complaining, the weather has been great, it is just that I'm not used to the heat yet.  The new cooling collar does help though (plus it looks really good on me).

Well, speaking of tired, I'm feeling a little sloomy so I'm going to take a little nap.

TTFN,

Little Bit
