I think I've mentioned it before, but the boss man is taking a couple of photography classes this semester. He is a couple of days away from spring break, which is good, because I need a break. It is tough work to be his on call model day in and day out. Maybe I should ask for an increase in my biscuit ration. Mmmm, biscuits...
Well, as you all probably know, today is St. Patrick's day. He is, of course, the patron saint of Ireland and he was alive a long, long time ago (387 to 493 A.D.)1,2. His story is quite interesting. But this is a story about Little Bit, so we won't go into that now.
In honor of St. Patrick's day, every dog is part Irish Wolfhound or Irish Setter. Donations to my Smooches for Pooches charity are usually quite high on St. Patrick's day because I go around telling people "Kiss me, I'm [an] Irish [wolfhound]." Sometimes they think I'm crazy because I look so much more like a Mule Terrier than an Irish Wolfhound, but I just tell them that I was the runt of the litter (which brings extra pity smooches).
Well, I'm off for my daily exercise. If you see me out there, don't be shy, pucker up!
And finally, I close with a quick blessing...
May the sun always be warm on your back
And a soft pillow be under your bum
May you have a kind, loving pack
And always have food in your tum!
Peace, out.
Little Bit
